Crossing a Tunnel
Life is filled with unknown variables. Nobody knows what will happen to you in the next few seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even a year. What is certain is that life is full of storms, trials, and tribulations. But, what can be done to prepare for all of this? God is the answer.
Looking back, prayer was the one thing that actually helped me to solve all of the challenges I experienced. You might not believe me, but it’s true. I understood that all of those situations were made simpler for me to handle since God was always with me. God gave me just enough problems that He knew I could handle. I know that when you’re in a difficult situation, you may feel as if it’s the end of the world or that it will never be resolved, but I tell you, when you’re in that place, kneel and pray. Seek Him out, call Him, and He will come. He will never forsake us nor leave us.
It’s normal to be anxious. You have no idea what His plan or purpose is, thus certain things have to happen. But one thing I’m certain of is that whatever His plan is, it’s always for our good. His intentions are the purest. Keep the faith. When you’re in the dark, remember that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. It may be a long tunnel journey, but you’ll see the light at the right moment. I understand how difficult it is. You’ll come to a stop along the way and wonder if you’ll be able to continue. There are moments when you simply want to give up because it’s been so long and there’s still no glimpse of light. But let me tell you, your problem is like a tunnel. Simply have faith and courage, and you will be able to cross it in no time.
There is no shortcut inside a tunnel; there is only one way to escape it. Otherwise, you will return to the same difficult situation. Have the courage to confront it. Remember that you have someone beside you who will guide the way. God is with us. All we have to do is believe in Him. Someday, when you’re out of that darkness, you’ll realize how worthwhile the journey is.
So, while you’re inside the tunnel, take what’s there and use it to deepen your faith, grow your belief, and get to know Him better. Because one thing is certain when you’re out: you’ll discover the best version of yourself.
